Explore the complexity of human emotions, where conceptual faces and fluid forms intertwine to unveil a profound journey of identity.
"I’m inviting you to delve into my dreamlike realm where the boundaries of self are continuously redefined."

Jennifer Langlois, is a Montreal-based artist.
Her work blends abstract and figurative elements, focusing on the exploration of color and form in a way that is both personal and experimental.
She use a range of cool tones like blues, purples, and greens, mixed with occasional warmer hints, to create a contemplative and nuanced mood.
In her paintings, you’ll encounter abstracted human faces that are intentionally fragmented and distorted. This approach serves as a visual metaphor for the multifaceted nature of identity, aiming to capture the sense of disorientation and the multiplicity of perspectives that define our understanding of self.
By breaking down the human form into overlapping and interlocking shapes, she explore themes of identity and perception, reflecting the tension between structure and fluidity in our emotional and psychological states.
"The combination of geometric shapes and flowing lines creates a dynamic interplay, where geometric forms provide order and clarity, while organic lines add a fluid, intuitive element. This contrast mirrors the internal conflicts and harmonies we experience
in our lives.
Fragmentation in my work is a way to express that our identities are not singular or static but are composed of various facets and influences. The distorted forms and broken faces suggest that our understanding of ourselves and others is often incomplete and evolving.
I pay close attention to techniques of smooth blending and layering, which help achieve a soft, dreamlike quality with layers of paint adding depth and texture.
Through these methods, I aim to evoke
a sense of introspection and invite viewers to look beyond the surface, reflecting on the complex and often ambiguous nature of our inner worlds.
I hope my art resonates with you and offers a space for personal exploration."
